P.F. Chang's China Bistro confirmed that a security breach occurring earlier this year involved stolen credit and debit card information from 33 restaurant locations in the United States. 

The company has not determined how many customers' personal data was stolen.

The U.S. Secret Service and third-party forensic experts flagged a data security risk at the company in June. P.F. Chang's says it has "contained" the problem by switching to a manual processing system for all credit and debit card transactions and has been securely processing payment data since June 11.
