To what do you attribute the positive ratings from yourcustomers?
Kramer: "Along with mature processes,StoneRiver touts a commitment to outstanding customer support as achief reason for the positive ratings with customers. We arefortunate to have an active user community that we nurture. With25-plus years of experience implementing accounting systems atinsurance companies, StoneRiver has done the work necessary to earnthese positive customer relationships and reviews. Lastly, we havestrong client loyalty overall and approximately 76 percent of ourclients have been with us for over 10 years."

How do you communicate with your insurance carriercustomers to meet their needs?
Kramer: "StoneRivertouts a formal process that ensures we are implementingenhancements that customers find intrinsic value within. Customerscan submit enhancement requests through various channels and duringthe annual user group meeting. This meeting in particular is heldto discuss the suggested enhancements and users are given theopportunity to prioritize the enhancements through a votingprocess. Once the list of enhancements has been finalized, thebusiness analysts and product teams work directly with our clientsto ensure the enhancements are being implemented as expected andfollow-up communication occurs to outline the enhancements andfunctionality. StoneRiver communicates with customers throughnewsletters, an annual client conference, industry events, and anonline support tool called Lifeline."

What are some of the positive developments your companyhas achieved in the past year to make your product stand out amid acrowded solution-provider market?
Kramer: "Inspiringloyalty is something StoneRiver pursues in an ongoing fashion. Werelease product enhancements based on client feedback. We have acustomer Excel award program that acknowledges our clients forexcellence in technical innovation, project management, valueachievement, and customer community leadership. We have builtpartnerships that enhance our product suite. We have implementedaccount management resources that stay in touch with ourclients."
