As insurers continue major initiatives, launch new ones, andrespond to the external forces acting on the industry, thestrategies are increasingly overlapping and becoming mutuallydependent.

Insurers have a business to run every day— the management of their products in the market,customers requiring service, and regulators andshareholders/members monitoring progress. On the other hand, thedigital, connected world is full of newopportunities, but at the same time, gives rise to some new andcredible threats.
