The Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.), chagrined by the fact that none of the recent movies contending for an Oscar deals with insurance, today released its nominees for top 10 insurance films of all time.
I.I.I. noted that pictures among this year's Academy Award nominees deal with an avaricious oil man, "There Will Be Blood"; a drug deal gone bad, "No Country for Old Men"; teen-age pregnancy, "Juno"; ethically challenged attorneys, "Michael Clayton"; a tragedy of misunderstandings, "Atonement."
The I.I.I. said these are all worthy subjects for the best picture at this year's Academy Awards, but wondered "not one about insurance?"
