London-based specialty insurance carrier Hiscox said it has named Carl Bach to spearhead business development operations in the United States.
As business development director, Hiscox Global Markets, Mr. Bach will be based in the company's Manhattan office and work with U.S. insurance brokers to increase the flow of business into the carrier's London market operation, Hiscox said.
Mr. Bach was previously with ACE where he served as president of the United Kingdom and Ireland operation. He was also executive vice president, global solutions, providing products and services to U.S.-based multinational companies. In addition, he was responsible for ACE's foreign casualty underwriting division.
