A new survey from The Hartford found that 25% of Americans — approximately 57 million people — own a side business (a business that is not their primary source of income), yet most don’t have insurance to protect it.

Only 12% of side business owners in America have purchased insurance. Of those who have not purchased insurance: 91% do not plan to purchase.
