Risk management services firm Hanover Stone Partners has appointed Michael T. Scott and Philip J. Stevens senior risk advisors. Scott is an attorney with more than two decades of leadership experience in risk management and insurance; Stevens concurrently leads Rowayton Risk Consulting, a firm he founded in 2013 that provides a wide range of captive advisory services.

Joe Norick, who specializes in equine and agricultural insurance, and his team have joined Aon. Norick will serve as director of equine and agribusiness as part of Aon's private risk management group.

Brit Ltd has appointed Jay Nichols to join the Boards of Sussex Capital and Brit Re as non-executive director; he will also become chair of the Audit Committee of Brit Re and join the Brit Ltd Aud Committee. Most recently, he was CEO of the reinsurance operations of Axis Capital.

Theresa Del Priore has been appointed sales manager for Greene & Associates. Del Priore comes to Greene with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently working in the role of vice president of sales and business development with AmTrust.

Pioneer Underwriters has appointed Kellie Reese underwriter in its recently launched E&S Property operation. Reese, a specialist property underwriter with almost 30 years of experience, previously served with The Hartford.

Jay Lefkowitz has been promoted to president of XL Catlin's Global Risk Management business in North America. Prior to his promotion, he was the head of XL Catlin's U.S. Risk Management team.

Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has announced that Henning Haagen will take over as North American Regional Head of Specialty Lines, and Rich Soja will become the North American Regional Head of Marine, effective December 31. Haagen joined Allianz in 2008 and was appointed Northeast Zone Executive in January of 2017; Soja joined Allianz in August of this year from Tokio Marine Management where he served as senior vice president, marine.

Angela Stokes has joined Brentwood Services Administrators Inc. as a claims adjuster trainee in its occupational injury unit in the new Florence, Ala., office. Prior to Brentwood, Stokes served as an admitting clerk at Red Bay Hospital in Red Bay, Ala.

Chubb has appointed Tracey Laws to the newly created position of senior vice president, general counsel, global government and industry affairs. Laws previously served as senior vice president and general counsel at the Reinsurance Association of America.

Jeffrey (Jeff) S. Tagsold has been elected chairman & CEO by Auto-Owners Insurance's board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2018. He succeeds Jeff Harrold, current chairman & CEO, who will retire Dec. 31.

Additionally, Auto-Owners Insurance also announced that Daniel J. Thelen, executive vice president, will become president of Auto-Owners Company and its affiliates; Carolyn B. Muller, senior vice president, claims, will assume the role of executive vice president.

Dionne Wallace Oakley has been promoted to executive vice president of human resources & strategy of Erie Insurance, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Wallace Oakley came to Erie Insurance in 2011 as vice president, HR Business Partners, following a 22-year career at State Farm.

The Hartford has announced that Stephanie Bush, who has led Small Commercial since July 2014, will expand her responsibilities to include oversight for Personal Lines. Bush returned to The Hartford in 2013 as chief product and underwriting officer for Small Commercial, and was promoted to head of the business in 2014.

David R. Frediani has been named to assume the role of president of U.S. Field Operations, Strategic Relations and Global Marketing, for Ironshore Inc. Frediani, who has served as President of Ironshore International since 2012, succeeds Joseph L. Boren who is set to retire as of year-end 2017.
