Specialist global insurer Hiscox has appointed Megan McConnell Director of Underwriting for Hiscox Re in London. She joins Hiscox from Paraline, where she was Active Underwriter of Paraline (formerly ICAT) Syndicate 4242 and Special Purpose Arrangement 6123.

Barbara Bufkin has been appointed to the Board of Governors Chair for The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation 2018/2019 term. Bufkin is currently executive head of business development, commercial lines at Assurant Inc.

AIG has appointed Tom Bolt chief underwriting officer, General Insurance. He is expected to
join the company in Jan. 2018, and joins from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance where he was serving as president and CEO of the U.K. and southern Europe, and as a member of the
General Insurance Executive Leadership Team.

Randy E. Hodge has been appointed senior vice president, underwriting and reinsurance for FM Global. Prior to this, Hodge served as vice president and operations manager of FM Global's Atlanta, Georgia, operations.

FM Global also announced the following appointments to its newly formed innovation team:

Vincent A. Reyda - senior vice president, manager, innovation implementation.
Ronnie Gibson - vice president, innovation business and insurance.
Balaji Purushothaman - vice president, innovation data and digital.
Jaap de Vries - vice president, innovation science and technology.

JLT Re, part of the global provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, has appointed Desmond Bohan senior vice president in Stamford, Connecticut. Most recently, he was at Frates where he was senior vice president and focused on the Programs sector for over 13 years.

Gail Olsen has joined Atlas Insurance Management as their senior vice president, finance & compliance. Before joining Atlas, Olsen worked for Northgate, a family-owned packaging, warehousing and reverse logistics company.

Bold Penguin has appointed Lou Geremia chief revenue officer. Most recently, he led Internet Insurance Group, a national, commercial lines agency focused on selling small business coverage.
