Barbican Insurance Group has announced the establishment of Barbican Specialty US, a new MGA providing wholesale excess & surplus property insurance solutions for small-to-medium-sized commercial operations along the southeastern coast of the United States. Based in Atlanta and Kansas City, Barbican Specialty US operates exclusively through wholesale brokers and focuses primarily on providing multi-peril insurance products for risks such as wind/hail and AOP including flood and earthquake.
Computer Services Inc. has contributed more than $160,000 to the United Way of Paducah-McCracken County through its annual campaign. This year's campaign marked increases in several key metrics, including total dollars raised, number of employee participants and average gift per donor.
The American Fraternal Alliance, the national trade association representing 62 fraternal benefit societies in the U.S. and Canada, has announced that, as of Nov. 10, 2017, its member societies have contributed $10,166,381 to relief efforts from recent hurricanes, wildfires and the Mexican earthquake. In addition, fraternal benefit societies donated more than $2,000,000 worth of food and supplies for disaster relief efforts in affected areas.
