XL Catlin's insurance operations has appointed Owen Williams captive centre of excellence manager. He joins XL Catlin from Zurich Insurance plc, where he spent 11 years, most recently as head of captive services in the U.K.

Andrew Mehrhoff has been appointed Beazley's head of broker relations for its north central region. Mehrhoff joins Beazley from Aon Financial Services Group.

American International Group, Inc. has announced that Lucy Fato will join the company as executive vice president and general counsel, effective October 16. Fato is currently managing director, head of the Americas and general counsel at the global investigations firm Nardello & Co.

Eve Cutler Rosen has been appointed senior advisor for advisory firm Hanover Stone Solutions. She joins Hanover Stone Solutions from Great American Insurance Company where she served for more than 30 years in such positions as corporate secretary and general counsel.

Insurtech startup CoverWallet has announced that Paul Rosen will join the company as COO. Rosen spent the last six years as chief sales officer at OnDeck, helping transform the startup to a public company.

James Boyce has been promoted to deputy CEO, global specialties, effective immediately, for Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. He joined Guy Carpenter in 1997 following the acquisition of Wilcox Johnson & Higgins by Marsh & McLennan Companies.

Hub International Limited has named Marc Cohen president and CEO of HUB, effective January 1, 2018; he will also be a member of the board of directors. Cohen currently serves as president of HUB and was appointed to the position in January 2017.

Tom Pipala has been appointed client advocate for Willis Towers Watson's real estate and hospitality practice, part of its corporate risk and broking business. Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson, he served as managing principal at Integro Insurance Brokers.

Innovative Computer Systems, developer of the Finys Suite, has announced that Rick Maka will join the company as product engagement manager. Maka is an insurance industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience.

Richard G. Spiro has been appointed CEO for the Hilb Group. From 2008 to 2016, Spiro was executive vice president and CFO of The Chubb Corporation.

Specialty insurer and reinsurance broker BMS Re US has appointed Paul Knutson executive vice president in the company's Minneapolis office. He joins from Willis Re where he served as geographic leader of its upper Midwest personal & small commercial business.

Guy Carpenter & Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. has appointed Andre Eisele CEO of the Pacific region. Eisele joins Guy Carpenter from Swiss Re where he served as head of client markets property & casualty for Australia and New Zealand for the last three years.
