POWERS Insurance and Risk Management and sister company Valley Insurance Agency Alliance has appointed Tim Davis director of operations. Prior to joining the companies, Davis worked for a national online retail insurance agency for nearly 10 years.

Tim Ryan has been promoted to president, specialty casualty of Navigators. Ryan joined Navigators in July 2013 and previously served as president of the excess casualty division.

Kinsale Capital Group Inc. has appointed Gregory M. Share to its Board of Directors. Share is Managing Partner of Ambina Partners LLC, an investment firm focused on investing in software and financial services companies.

David Holdreith has joined Blackrock as director and relationship manager in FIG - North America. Holdreith joins BlackRock from PIMCO where he was responsible for insurance client relationships in the U.S. and Bermuda.

International broker and risk management firm Integro Insurance Brokers has appointed Michael McCarroll senior vice president in the firm's Woodland, California office. McCarroll joins Integro from Willis Towers Watson.

Ian Burford has been appointed chairman of Specialised Risks for Fidelis Insurance, effective September 4. Burford left Novae in May 2017, where he had been since 1998, most recently as underwriting performance director.

Navigators has appointed Silvia Sandoval reinsurance underwriter in the company's Marine division. Most recently, Sandoval worked at Liberty International Underwriters as part of the Marine underwriting team where she was responsible for developing the company's business in Central America and the Caribbean.

Joshua Eckrich has joined Lockton's Kansas City operation to assist clients in achieving their strategic growth goals and to manage their risks. Eckrich comes to Lockton from Aon where he led a team that worked with clients on complex risk management issues.

Neon has appointed Ben Murphy to its property insurance team in London. Most recently serving at Hiscox, Murphy spent 12 years as a property underwriter working on the commercial property account and specialised in North American and Caribbean business.

Mike Reeves has joined Sedgwick to support the development of new business and markets for its international division. Reeves joins Sedgwick after retiring from a 40-year career to a large global adjusting firm.

EMC Insurance Group Inc. has announced that executive vice president and COO Kevin Hovick will retire on January 2, 2018. Hovick has served as the executive vice president and COO since 2011.

Whit Hudson has been appointed vice president for Assurance's property & casualty division. Hudson joins with over 18 years of experience and specializes in working with clients in the manufacturing industry.

Marsh & McLennan has announced the passing of Robert J. Newhouse, Jr. Newhouse, Jr. retired as vice chairman of Marsh & McLennan in 1990 following his 36-year career at the firm.

Hub International Limited has announced that Roy Taylor, president of the Western Region for HUB, is retiring effective January 1, 2018. Taylor spent 14 years with the company.
