Vale Training, a subsidiary of Cunningham Lindsey specializing in training for adjusters and appraisers in the insurance and auto body repair industries, announced Doug Dell as vice president & director. He is currently the chairman of the Greater Atlanta Chapter for Association for Talent Development, and also serves on the HR Advisory Council for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.

Josh Nevin has been appointed COO for Hiscox USA's business unit. Prior to joining Hiscox, Nevin served as the COO at Wagner Oil Company.

Chubb has appointed Leigh Anne Sherman to lead the private/not-for-profit management liability business within the North America Financial Lines division. She has held progressive leadership roles in several offices in the Chubb organization, most recently serving as head of Chubb's Underwriting Service Branch located in Simsbury, Connecticut.

James Blacker has been appointed managing director of property and casualty for global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed. He joins from Arthur J Gallagher where he served as executive director for the casualty division for over a decade.

Beazley has announced the following appointments:

- Kirk Jordan - environmental underwriter based in the Chicago office. Previously, he was an electronic futures trader for ARB Trading Group.
- Edwin Baez - focus on site-specific pollution coverage, based out of the Miami office. Previously, Baez was with Berkley Environmental, where he held senior positions in their New York and Miami offices.
- Jason Lowney - underwriter based in the New York office. He joins Beazley from Nationwide Insurance, where he was director of commercial D&O.
- Robert Hoban - responsible for private enterprise business development efforts in the Midwest U.S., based out of the Chicago office. Hoban joins from Hiscox USA, where he was a senior underwriter for technology and cyber liability insurance.
- Karilyn Wells - responsible for private enterprise business development efforts in the Western U.S., based out of the Los Angeles office. Wells joins from Hiscox USA, where she was a senior underwriter for management liability insurance.

Jay Kallas has joined Mayer Brown's Global Insurance Industry Group and Corporate & Securities practice as counsel in the firm's Chicago office, where he will advise companies on structured insurance and reinsurance transactions. Kallas joins the firm from Drinker Biddle & Reath.

JLT Specialty USA has appointed Jennifer Schaeffer as senior vice president. Schaeffer will be based in San Francisco and joins from Aon plc, where she was a senior vice president.

Chris Ledoux has joined the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) as vice president, federal policy. Most recently, Ledoux served as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) first insurance specialist and key corporate legal resource on insurance issues.
