D. Michael Sherman has been appointed president for Acrisure LLC after joining in January as a strategic advisor. Sherman served as CEO of Dawson Insurance Inc. following its sale to AssuredPartners in 2012.

Surplus lines wholesale brokerage tKg has appointed Mark Walker vice president and broker in the company's P&C Eastern division. Walker joins from Peachtree Special Risk Brokers where he served as executive vice president.

John Plummer has been appointed chairman of property & casualty for global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed. Plummer previously served as managing director for Howden's North American property and casualty division.

Miami-based auto insurance carrier Windhaven Insurance has appointed Daniel L. Maloney senior vice president of sales. Maloney previously served as vice president of sales and marketing at Encompass.

Producers Ag Insurance Group Inc., a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, has promoted Kendall Jones to president and CEO, effective June 30. Jones previously served as executive vice president and COO. He replaces Michael Connealy, who will transition to chairman of the board, effective June 30, until his retirement in the second quarter of 2018.

Cindy Powell has been appointed CFO at Root Insurance. Powell joins from State Auto Insurance Companies where she served in various roles ranging from treasurer to chief audit executive.

Hogan Lovells has appointed Robert Fettman as counsel in its New York office. Fettman previously served as special counsel in Sullivan & Cromwell's Insurance group and remains an active member of the Committee on Insurance Law of the New York City Bar Association.

Jonah Paransky has been appointed executive vice president and general manager of the ELM Solutions business at Wolters Kluwer Governance, Risk & Compliance. Paranksy was most recently the CEO of SkyTouch Technology.
