RIC Insurance General Agency has appointed Patty Herron business development manager. Herron previously served as sales underwriter with Hanover in San Diego County.

Charles A. "Tripp" Craig III has been appointed director of business development for Keystone Insurers Group. Craig joins from The Beacon Group of Companies where he served as senior insurance executive.

Chubb has appointed Ana Robic chief operating officer, North America personal risk services. Robic previously served as executive vice president president, Canadian region manager, commercial insurance.

Nancy Bewlay has been appointed XL Catlin's global chief underwriting officer, effective April 17. Bewlay most recently served as Swiss Re's managing director and head of casualty for the U.S. and Canada.

Signal Administration, the manager of Signal Mutual, has appointed Justin Gardner chief underwriting officer. Gardner joins from Willis Re where he was executive vice president and led the broker's U.S. specialty division.

Worldwide Facilities has appointed Kirsten Noecker as a broker to grow the lawyers professional line of business. Noecker previously served as assistant vice president at ProQuest, where she specialized in servicing and placing coverage for law firms.

Keith Trivitt has been appointed vice president, corporate communications for AXIS Capital. Trivitt previously served as vice president of marketing at Playbuzz, an online publishing platform.

Integro Insurance Brokers has appointed Michelle Kwait global chief human resources officer. Kwait joins from Ghirardelli Chocolate Company where she served as vice president of human resources.

Roland Rodriguez has been appointed Pioneer Underwriter's vice president of diversified financial services at Pioneer Special Risk. Rodriguez most recently served as vice president of financial services for Herbert L. Jamison & Co. LLC.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's Big I Advantage unit has promoted Virginia "Ginny" Blake Pierson to assistant vice president. Pierson has been with the Big "I" since 2006 when she joined the team as state marketing manager.

Melissa Joyce has been appointed chief customer experience officer for Farmers Insurance, a newly created position within the Farmers organization. Joyce joins from American Express where she served as vice president of the strategic planning group.

The Main Street America Group has promoted Tom Frazier to senior vice president. Frazier has been vice president and chief investment officer since 2011.

Paul Grady has been appointed a principal to work with multiple Alera Group firms throughout Connecticut, as well as Beacon Retiree Benefits Group in Plantsville, Connecticut. Grady previously served as a partner at Mercer.

Custom House Risk Advisors, an independent risk management consulting affiliate of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc., announced the following appointments:

Kathleen Nickerson - vice president
Susan M. Scanlon - risk management consultant
Janine Stewart - associate risk consultant

Thomas Duggan has been promoted to chief claims officer for Ironshore Environmental. Duggan previously served as claims director.

Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company has appointed Jayashree Ishwar chief underwriting officer. Ishwar joins from Erie Insurance Group where she served as senior vice president, chief commercial underwriting officer.

Matt Merna has been appointed chief operating officer for Chubb's North America major accounts division. Merna previously served as senior executive vice president of Chubb Global Casualty, starting in 2010.

Willis Tower Watson has appointed Joe Peiser head of broking, North Amerca, part of its corporate risk and broking segment. Before joining the company in 2014, Peiser served as president of Wright Specialty Insurance Agency.
