Chicago-based independent insurance agency Parr Insurance Brokerage said it has created a policy for Chicago-based E-Rive, a low-cost, electric-vehicle car sharing service.
East Aurora, N.Y.-based Greene & Associates, an underwriting manager and wholesale broker for excess and surplus lines coverage, said it has opened a satellite office in Glastonbury, Conn. The agency said it currently writes business in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
Alexandria Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said that Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) will be a keynote speaker at its legislative conference breakfast on Thursday, April 14. The event precedes the association's annual Big “I” Day on Capitol Hill where agents and brokers convene to educate members of the Senate, House and their staff on issues that affect independent insurance agents, brokers and consumers.
