According to the 2014 United States Wealth Report from Capgemini and RBC Wealth Management, the United States high-net-worth population and wealth have grown by 17 percent and 18 percent respectively. The report also observes that "a new pattern of wealth creation in the U.S. appears to have emerged over the five years from 2008 to 2013," with more wealth concentrated in the South and in the West. Three of the four fastest-growing cities are Dallas, Houston and San Jose.
