Former American International Group executive CharlesWilliamson has been hired as executive vice president of fieldoperations and corporate development with risk and insuranceadvisor Crystal & Co.
Williamson was most recently president of consumer lines in theAmericas for AIG P&C from May 2010 to October 2012.
|Before that, Williamson was president of AIG Private ClientGroup from February 2007 to May 2010.
|In all, Williamson spent about 25 years with AIG. HisLinkedIn profile says he “guided [AIG PCG] through the 2008financial crisis, leading crisis management and serving as mediaspokesperson in [a] massive response that rallied and maintainedconfidence of employees, brokers, and consumers [to] keep businessboth intact and strong.”
|Crystal says Williamson will report to CEO James W. Crystal andhe will join the New York firm's executive committee, leadinggrowth and development of national branch operations and executingits regional expansion strategy.
