The new version includes enhancements to provide moreautomation, tools, and capabilities for edgeConnect insurancecarrier clients.  The primary goal of the new 5.1capabilities is to make it even easier and more cost-efficient forcarriers to utilize edgeConnect's tools to configure and manageoptimal front-end user experiences for all, regardless ofthe user type, device used, or language preference.

edgeConnect 5.1 puts even more power and opportunity into acarrier's hands to help them to extend back-end systems to onlineand mobile, access new distribution channels and markets, andquickly configure the branding for any group of supportedusers.

With the focus on increasing speed to market and reducingdelivery costs, new capabilities provided with edgeConnect Version5.1 include:

  • Enterprise themes which provide the ability to createdesigns/themes and share them across the organization to moreeasily re-use user experiences, ensure consistency throughout theenterprise, and support simplified re-branding;
  • Dynamic components allow greater flexibility in re-usingcomponents for easier and quicker user experience development,deployment and maintenance;;
  • Advanced integration techniques to automatically facilitate there-import of web services integration changes resulting from theinevitable and continual user experience screen modifications; and,the
  • Ability to automatically compare existing and new project files(user experiences, screens, processes, and integrations) to easilyidentify changes, further simplifying ongoing user experiencedevelopment and support.
