Tech Decisions magazine, a Summit Business Media publication, has partnered with CastleBay Consulting to develop Shop Talk, a best practices book for the property & casualty industry. Written by George Grieve, Shop Talk is a compilation of his articles written for Tech Decisions over the last five years.
Currently CEO of CastleBay, Grieve has been in the insurance technology industry for almost 30 years, 25 of which have been spent specifically working with property & casualty insurers. He has been a contributing columnist for Tech Decisions and PropertyCasualty360.com for over six years. The purpose of the book is to consolidate Grieve's columns from the past five years and provide a best-practices resource property & casualty professionals.
"I believe the goal of Tech Decisions is to inform and entertain and George Grieve consistently delivers on both counts with his Shop Talk column," said Robert Regis Hyle, editor of Tech Decisions. "The subject matter around technology decisions—particularly core systems replacement—can be dry, but George's style makes it an enjoyable read. I think anyone who has read his columns over the years will enjoy looking back and finding that all of his columns remain relevant to what is happening in the market today."
