|FM Global announced it has opened an insurance branch office inMadrid, Spain.
|The Johnston, R.I.-based insurer said it is now writing localbusiness through the Madrid office. The company has provided lossprevention engineering services to clients in Spain for nearly 30years.
|The firm says that the establishment of an insurance branchoffice will enhance its responsiveness to local clients' needs.
|The mutual insurance company says its growth has followed thatof its multinational clients who have rapidly expanded their globalcapabilities, leading the mutual insurer to provide its productsand services in more than 130 countries.
