An unforeseen schedule change is not always bad news.
The CPCU Society said today that just such an event is bringing a new keynote speaker to its 66th Annual Meeting and Seminars Sept. 25-28 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, the nation’s first female secretary of state and one of the most powerful women in the world, will now be the CPCU conference’s keynoter. Albright will speak on Sunday, Sept. 26, about her life and career, providing a unique and no-holds-barred account of service at the highest levels of government. In her keynote address, Albright will discuss her years as secretary of state and offer candid descriptions of foreign leaders she encountered. She will also discuss America’s role in the world, the global economy, current regional conflicts, the future of democracy, and the challenge of ensuring security and building peace. Her remarks will be followed by a Q-and-A session, in which attendees will be invited to ask questions. In addition to Albright’s keynote address, conference attendees will be presented with numerous educational and professional development programs.
