At age 26, Sharon Ratliff of Greenville, Miss. has already led a full life of crime, and now she's paying for it.

Ratliff was sentenced on June 19, 2009 to two years in prison, to be suspended by two years of formal probation during which she will make restitution in the amount of $6,096.96, and reimburse the General Fund of the State of Mississippi $8,597 in investigative costs.

So what did she do to rack up those fees? Not only did she commit two counts of insurance fraud, but she also committed wire fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of five years, a $10,000 fine, or both.
