Progressive Insurance Company is offering free materials toagents to help them tap into a growing Hispanic market in theUnited States, the insurer said.

The products offered, Progressive explained, include consumerresources as well as agency marketing materials.

Progressive is offering a "welcome kit" for agents to hand outto new Hispanic customers. The kit includes materials in Spanishsuch as a checklist on what benefits were purchased, a tip sheet onwhat steps to take in the event of an auto accident, andinformation about Progressive.

Progressive said that consumers can also receive bi-lingualeducation materials that include a FAQ sheet on insurance, adeclaration page that explains sections of the policy in Spanish,and an "Auto Insurance Basics" brochure.

For agents, Progressive said that it is offering a Hispanicmarket toolkit that includes print ads, radio ads, posters andother materials in Spanish to help agents grow their Hispanicbusiness.

The company said it is also providing community event supportthrough its agency-dedicated Web site, www.ForAgentsOnly.com, andSpanish language referral cards.

"This robust package of materials was developed to be culturallyrelevant and meaningful for this demographic," said Jonathan Klein,Hispanic marketing manager for Progressive. "With resources tosupport private passenger and commercial auto, as well as speciallines, agents now have access to everything from signage forcommunity events to co-branded advertising materials and handoutsfor customers that easily explain insurance."
