SEATTLE–The Property Casualty Insurers Association of Americaofficially elected Thomas Tierney as chairman today, moving him upfrom vice chairman. Mr. Tierney is also chairman, president andchief executive officer of the Vermont Mutual Insurance Group.
Robert Joyce was elected vice chairman and John Blackburn wasselected as second vice chairman. Mr. Joyce is chairman and CEO ofWestfield Group and Mr. Blackburn is CEO of Country Insurance &Financial Services.
The PCI chairman's post was previously held by Gerald Whitburnof Church Mutual Insurance.
