The three winners of PropertyCasualty360's 2026 Workers' Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence helped kickstart the WCI's annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference in Orlando this year, an event that draws more than 6,000 attendees each year for education, networking and service.

This year's winners — Shamrock Foods, Costa Farms and Larimer County, Colorado — illustrate how investing in injury prevention and return-to-work programs benefits both employees and the bottom line. The Workers' Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence is mounted in partnership with the Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI) with support from Sedgewick and Safety National.

Representatives from each of the winning organizations were on hand in Orlando to accept their awards and speak about what makes each of their workers' comp programs exceptional. Learn more about them by checking out their published profiles and by watching this video in which Andrea LeBlanc from Shamrock Foods, Bradley Feller from Costa Farms, and Jeff Green from Larimer County speak with sponsor representatives Mark Walls, Chief Marketing Officer focused on Workers Compensation and Casualty Insurance, and Kimberly George, Global Chief Brand Officer for Sedgwick.

"[Winners] received this award," George said, "because they brought innovative solutions to the workers' compensation program."
