Kaplan Financial, a provider of education and compliancesolutions to the insurance and financial services regulatorymarkets, has announced the first release of its ComplianceManagement System Generation 2, a Web-enabled system designed toprovide workflow support for the licensing, appointment request,and registration processes associated with insurance producers.

CMS G2 aims to help companies enforce state and federalcompliance requirements. It also can allow carriers to get theirproducers actively selling products sooner and withoutinterruption.

CMS G2 will enable electronic data exchange among producers,carriers, agencies, broker/dealers, and regulatory entities. Thesoftware will integrate seamlessly the critical tasks and workflowassociated with managing the producer/representative life cycle byautomating and streamlining five key areas within a firm in asingle, integrated system: new hire processing; licensing,registration, and appointment processing; broker/dealer oragency/insurance company data exchange; compliance maintenance; andevidence of insurance continuing education completion.
