Houston International Insurance Group is the new name for two companies following completion of the merger between Southwest Insurance Partners and Lightyear Delos Acquisition Corp.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said this week it has made two separate acquisitions of agencies in Las Vegas and Mesa, Ariz.

RLI Corp. said that it will acquire Contractors Bonding Insurance Co. through an acquisition of its holding company, Data and Staff Service Co. for approximately $137 million in cash.
