In general, the most popular places to rent in the U.S. tend to have abundant rentals available along with a copacetic mix of amenities, job opportunities and schools. They also tend to be medium-sized to smaller municipalities, which some argue are more friendly and accessible, but often have easy access to the country's major metropolitan areas. The site arrived at its list of desirable rental locations by looking at how often potential renters research the city and save it to their favorites.
