Pros gather for Complex Claims Forum in Las Vegas

The ALM PropertyCasualty360 Complex Claims & Litigation Forum kicked off in Las Vegas on Mon., Feb. 27. The event runs through March 1 and serves as a chance for claims and legal professionals to gather and exchange ideas, discuss trends and share expertise around handling complex claims.

Monday’s opening keynote address was delivered by Hank Watkins, regional director and president, Americas for Lloyd’s. Williams discussed emerging risks and the ways in which the “Four Cs” — conflict, climate, catastrophes and cyber — have influenced the claims landscape.

The keynote was followed by a panel discussion on the state of the insurance industry featuring Neil Harrison, global chief claims officer at Aon plc; Steve Donnelly, chief claims office with Amerisure Insurance Company; and Kelly Doherty-Schaffner, executive vice president and head of Allied World Insurance Company’s North American Claims Group.
