The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) recently hosted the Inclusion in Insurance New York Forum, an event gathering insurance industry professionals, C-suite executives and thought leaders for sessions dedicated to advancing ideas into action on diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and the future of work. The event covered a number of notable industry issues including inclusive sustainability, the challenges of attracting and retaining diverse talent, how we can continue the DEI momentum, professional burn out and the science of inclusion. Leading speakers included Nelba Marquez-Greene, founder of the Ana Grace Project; Nina Boone, North American Leader for D&I at Korn Ferry; Michelle Silverthorn, best-selling author and founder of Inclusion Nation; Ngozi Nnaji, principal at AKO Brokerage Services; and Cheryl Rosario, head of DE&I and CSR at Munich Re. Throughout the day, speakers shared actionable insights and advice to help drive the insurance industry toward a fully inclusive industry. The slideshow above features highlights from the event.
