On Thursday, April 16, as part of its annual Innovation and Insights Day, Celent announced the winners of the Celent Model Insurer 2020 Awards. The annual Model Insurer program was launched 14 years ago to recognize “the effective use of technology by insurers through their implementation of IT programs that epitomize best practices for technology projects.”

The Boston-based financial services research and advisory firm, which is a member of the Oliver Wyman Group/Marsh & McLennan Companies, outlined these areas as part of its Model Insurer Awards. Insurance companies that vie for the annual prize are measured based on the following five essential tech criteria:
