Days after announcing a change inleadership to its North American General Insuranceoperations, American International Group Inc. (AIG) announcedanother change in the same division: John Cusano has been appointedchief business & technology operations officer, effective July1, 2019.

In this new role, Cusano will be responsible for enhancing theGeneral Insurance division's business and technologyinfrastructure, as well as aligning end-to-end processes withestablished target operating models. His global portfolio includesGeneral Insurance's Shared Services, Information Technology,Project Managemnet Office and Vendor Management operations.

Past experience

Cusano joins AIG from Accenture, where he spent the majority ofhis career serving the insurance industry. He has held a number ofleadership positions at Accenture including most recentlyoverseeing its Global Insurance Business.
