The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) has named Sheboygan, Wisc.-based Acuity Insurance the recipient of its 2018 Company Award of Excellence. The presentation was made on Sept. 28 at a gala ceremony held in conjunction with PIA’s Board of Directors meeting in Portland, Maine.

The PIA National Company Award of Excellence honors a company for its commitment to PIA, to the American Agency System and to furthering the interests of professional insurance agents by creating a better business environment.

“To be recognized as company of the year from PIA National is a tremendous honor and very humbling,” said Acuity Vice President, Sales and Communications Wally Waldhart. “We work to be a strong business partner and the ‘go-to’ company for independent agents, and to receive national recognition for our efforts is a wonderful validation of the efforts of everyone at Acuity.”
