Marsh has reached an agreement to acquire Houston-based Wortham Insurance. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018, were not disclosed.

The Travelers Companies Inc. announced that the 2018 Travelers Championship generated $1.8 million for charity. The tournament contributes 100% of its net proceeds to nonprofits throughout the region, and this year's funding will support approximately 130 organizations.
