Boca Raton, Florida-based Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty Inc. has acquired Los Angeles-based Behrooz Meimand Insurance Services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mutual insurance association The Standard Club has launched the Standard Club Offshore Advisory Committee (SCOAC), which consists of The Standard Club members: Allseas Group, Bumi Armada, Floatel International, Nortrans Offshore, Saipem, SBM Offshore and Subsea 7. SCOAC aims to analyze offshore trends, assist the club in understanding and disseminating industry best-practice, and develop new strategies to provide a focused direction for the benefit of the club's membership.
U.S. and international law firm Clyde & Co. has opened an office in Los Angeles. The new office is will be led by Julie Hawkinson and Jim Koelzer.
