Cary, North Carolina-based insurance software company Sapiens has acquired Denver-based StoneRiver, Inc. for approximately $102 million in cash, subject to certain adjustments.

Independent insurance brokerage XS Brokers has opened a new office in Worcester, Massachusetts, bring its count to four East Coast offices. The other offices are located in Quincy, Massachusetts; West Hartford, Connecticut and Philadelphia.

Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. has acquired the assets of Denali Alaskan Insurance, LLC (DAI), a subsidiary of Denali Federal Credit Union. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Guidewire Software, Inc. has completed the acquisition of cloud-based insurance technology product ISCS. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Itasca, Illinois-based insurance brokerage and risk management services company Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Madison, Wisconsin-based Kelly Financial, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Allianz has rebranded Zurich Assurances Maroc as Allianz Maroc, effective Jan. 30. Allianz had acquired 98.9 percent of the Moroccan-based business on Nov. 3, 2016.

Specialty insurer H.W. Kaufman Financial Group has rebranded loss control and risk mitigation firms US-Reports and Canadian Reports into one company called Afirm. The merged company is based out of Fort Collins, Colorado.
