New York City-based insurance broker MarshLLC said it has appointed MartinSouth president of its U.S. and Canada division,effective Sept. 1. South had been CEO ofMarsh’s Asia-Pacific region. He joined Marsh in 2007, and is basedin New York City.

Marsh also announced that South is replacing RobBentley, who is now working on strategic initiatives forparent company Marsh & McLennan Cos.’ Risk and insuranceservices segment.
