He will bebased in Toronto. A 30-year industry veteran, Fellows joins fromZurich Canada, where was senior vice president for distribution andregional management.

New York City-based specialtylines business Liberty InternationalUnderwriters has appointed MichaelFinnegan to the newly created position of chiefunderwriting officer, U.S. Operations. He joins from Liberty MutualReinsurance, where he was chief operating officer. Finnegan will bebased in New York.

Neil Lipuma, previously head of FinancialServices for Hiscox USA, has been appointed to the newly createdrole of professional risks practice leader. He will be based inHiscox’s New York office and has nearly 20 years of underwritingexperience.

Maureen LePiane has been named to thenewly created position of head of middle market errors andomissions for the professional risks division. She joins fromAllianz Global, where she was E&O practice group leader.LePiane will be based in Hiscox's New York office.

New York City-based investigative, compliance and cyber defenseservices firm K2Intelligence has appointed former New York PoliceDepartment Commissioner Raymond W.Kelly vice chairman. He joins from Cushman &Wakefield, where he was president of the firm’s risk managementservices group.

Thomas F. Wildsmith IV, a health actuary whoserves as senior public policy manager for Aetna, began his term as president ofthe Washington, D.C.-based American Academy of Actuaries on Nov.12, succeeding Mary D. Miller. Wildsmith has more than 30 years ofactuarial experience, and was elected by the professionalassociation's board of directors on Oct. 7, 2014.
