At its Applied Net Conference, software provider Applied Systemsannounced the introduction of IVANS Market Appetite, a search engine for P&Cinsurance agencies to identify carriers' interest for specificrisks. IVANS Insurance Solutions is a divsion of AppliedSystems, and provides technology for carrier-agency-MGA informationexchange.

The software allows agents to see a list of U.S. insurancecarriers ranked by market appetite at the moment of opportunity.The company says it improves productivity by reducing the timespent on the traditional ways of identifying carrier appetite,including referencing carrier risk guides, access carrier websites,search enginges, historical agent experience or directlycontracting underwriters on an individual basis.

Through this centralized source, carriers increase visibilityamong agency partners for stronger relationships and moreopportunities to win targeted business. The software will beaccessible on an open platform to all agencies using IVANS Exchangein the first half of 2016.

IVANS Market Appetite also will be accessible in the upcomingrelease of Applied Epic 2016 in Q4 2015. The latest release ofApplied Epic will offer capabilities to manage benefits and improvesales automation. Applied Systems says that Epic Sales Automationis the industry's first fully integrated sales opportunity,pipeline, forecast and activity manager, for renewals,cross-selling, and new prospects.

When using Applied Epic 2016, agencies and brokerages canautomatically allow clients to view carrier activity notes orinsurer e-documents through Applied CSR24 or Applied Mobile. Agentsand brokers would intiatite these workflows within Applied Epic toenable straight-through processing of insurance informationdirectly from the carriers, through the agency, to the insured.

The company also announced the launch of Applied CSR24 2016 atthe conference. Key upgrades include enhanced client self-serviceportal user interface, a new customer-service mobile app—AppliedCSR24 MobileInsured, which is available for both iOS and Androiddevices—online policy premium payment and document management.Applied CSR24 2016 integrates with Epic and TAM managementsystems.

Agents also can expect new enhancements to Applied Mobile 2016,formerly Applied MobileProducer, which enables agency and brokeragestaff to access and manage client and prospect infromation via asmartphone or tablet. Now available for both iOS and Androiddevices, Applied Mobile integrates with Applied Epic 2016 todeliver sales automation capabilities on the smart device. Users ofApplied Mobile also will have expanded real-time access to a widerrange of client and prospect documents.
