At its Applied Net Conference, software provider Applied Systemsannounced the introduction of IVANS Market Appetite, a search engine for P&Cinsurance agencies to identify carriers' interest for specificrisks. IVANS Insurance Solutions is a divsion of AppliedSystems, and provides technology for carrier-agency-MGA informationexchange.

The software allows agents to see a list of U.S. insurancecarriers ranked by market appetite at the moment of opportunity.The company says it improves productivity by reducing the timespent on the traditional ways of identifying carrier appetite,including referencing carrier risk guides, access carrier websites,search enginges, historical agent experience or directlycontracting underwriters on an individual basis. 

Through this centralized source, carriers increase visibilityamong agency partners for stronger relationships and moreopportunities to win targeted business. The software will beaccessible on an open platform to all agencies using IVANS Exchangein the first half of 2016.
