QBE North America announced theappointment of Brian Griffith as executive vicepresident, Field Management and Distribution. Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. (THF)announced the relocation of Christopher Howell,CPA, from Tallahassee to Tampa, Fla., to assume the role of marketleader for the THF Tampa office. Howell will be primarily focusedon the expansion of the insurance practice in the Tampa metro,while concentrating on growing the firm's not-for-profit and SECpractices in Tampa. As the firm's insurance industry co-leader,Howell is hands-on with the strategic planning and growth of theinsurance team, as well as the planning and scheduling for theassurance services department.

Zurich Insurance Group AG namedKristof Terryn chief executive officer of itsgeneral insurance unit. Terryn, who has been CEO of the insurer'sglobal life unit since August 2013, will assume his new position inOctober. Zurich is in the midst of analyzing RSA Insurance GroupPlc's books after it announced in August a pending acquisition ofthe British insurer for 5.6 billion pounds ($8.5 billion). Theacquisition would be Zurich's biggest since 2000, posing a freshchallenge for the management team led by CEO Martin Senn.

Parmenter brings to Pinnacle over ten yearsof property and casualty experience, as well as primary commercialinsurance and reinsurance experience. He has extensiveexperience with stochastic models along with various capitalallocation procedures and portfolio and large account profitabilityanalyses.

Maroun Mourad has joined Verisk Insurance Solutions assenior vice president of commercial lines domestic and global, ISOinsurance programs and analytic services. An insurance andreinsurance industry executive, with a 17-year domestic andinternational track record, Mourad will lead by maintaining ISO'sposition in the U.S. commercial insurance markets and help grow itsfootprint in the specialty, reinsurance, and global space. Mostrecently, Mourad served as chief executive officer of ZurichInsurance Group's Middle East operations based in Dubai.

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services,LLC (Beecher Carlson) announced the appointment ofMolly Nolan as Northeast property practice leader,part of a major expansion in the property practice. Based inBoston, Nolan will be responsible for brokering, servicing andassisting in production on all complex property accounts. Nolanworked for large brokerage firms based in New York and Kansas City.Most recently, she worked with a large London-based broker,focusing on bringing independent business into the Lloyds ofLondon, London and European markets. Parchment demonstrates EagleView'scontinuing commitment to providing the strongest solutions for theuse of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to gather and provideintelligent imagery and insights derived from it. In his new role,Parchment will lead the development and implementation of a productstrategy that commercializes drone technology and provides scalableand industry-specific solutions across multiple verticals. The Insurance Marketing & CommunicationsAssociation (IMCA) announced the election ofits 2015-16 board of directors, whichincludes Leslie Lash as directorof group communications and advertising at AmWINS Group Inc.;and Debbie Luera as corporatecommunications and marketing coordinator at Mutual InsuranceCompany of Arizona (MICA). Active IMCA members participated in theonline election process held in late August. In addition to Lashand Luera, four IMCA board directors were re-elected to two-yearterms: Ryan Arndorfer, Randy Clinger, DaveEvans and ValerieFoster.
