The National Assn. of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) appointed North Dakota Insurance Commissioner and current NAIC president, Adam Hamm, to a two-year term as the state insurance commissioner representative on the Financial Stability Oversight Council. Mr. Hamm will represent the interests of all the nation's state insurance regulators on the council.
The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation presented its Lifetime Achievement Award to Barbara Baurer, CEO for COUNTRY Financial in El Paso, TExas, for her committment to education and support of the foundation's mission.
