WARREN, NJ, September 12, 2014—For more than 30 years, the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has offered kidnap/ransom and extortion services to commercial customers through the Ackerman Group. Now, Chubb is offering a wide range of enhanced security services through Ackerman to personal insurance customers as well.
Chubb's Signature personal insurance customers now have access to cyber security consultations, background investigations for domestic employees, a 24/7 hotline for security-related questions, and other services from the Ackerman Group.
“With so much personal information being freely shared online these days, individuals are more vulnerable than ever to cyber-related theft, extortion and a broad range of threats to themselves, their families and their assets,” said Maria Cordeiro, client services manager for Chubb Personal Insurance.
