Modern Woodmen of America has licensed FAST Insurance Components to serve as its policy administration and new business system for life insurance and annuities. The solution will be implemented as part of a multi-phased initiative and will allow Modern Woodmen to continue to offer a high-level of service to its members.

Accenture and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) have partnered to deploy the Accenture Duck Creek Suite through a Software as a Service model to support the BHSI's policy, claims and billing functions. The integrated system is hosted by the Accenture Cloud Platform, allowing BHSI to consolidate and streamline business processes on a single hosted platform.

Merchants Insurance Group of Buffalo, N.Y. has selected IVANS Insurance Solutions to deliver policy and commission information to its independent agent network. With IVANS Download, Merchants' indpendent agents will be able to receive policy and direct bill comission information for home, auto (personal and commercial), business owner policy and workers' compensation lines, as well as bill commission statement information through one agency mailbox.

Promutuel Insurance selected Guidewire Software Inc.'s PolicyCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration solution for its commercial and farm lines of business. Promutuel has additionally selected Guidewire Rating and Guidewire Reinsurance Management. Guidewire PartnerConnect Affiliate member, V-NEO, will lead the implementation project, working closely with Guidewire Software in the collaboration.

Xuber, the insurance software business of Xchanging launched built-in, market-specific configuration packs that address U.S. market and customer needs and streamline data entry for specialty, non-admitted lines of business. The announcement comes exactly one year after the re-launching of Xuber in the U.S.
