Willis North America said it appointed EricJoost, the unit's chief executive of specialty practices, aschief operating officer.
In this newly-created role, Joost (pictured) will lead growthand operational strategies at Willis North America, which is theNorth American retail brokerage of Willis Group Holdings. He willcontinue to lead the specialty practices as he has since 2009.Joost joined Willis in 2006.
|Joost will report to Todd Jones, CEO of Willis NorthAmerica.

|Willis said Joost has more than 25 years of experience in theinsurance industry as a specialist broker andunderwriter. Prior to Willis he held leadership positionsat Allianz and Aon.
