Chris Smith joined All Risks Ltd. as a workers' compensation specialty program manager. Smith will be responsible for identifying specialty classes, building partnerships with carriers and implementing marketing strategies.
President of Markel Specialty Greg Thompson is scheduled to speak at the 7th Annual Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium, which is being held on September 10-11 in Dallas, Texas. Thompson's presentation is entitled “The Road to Success is Paved with Failure.”
New Programs
Ironshore Inc. launched a new claims-made policy form to complement its current suite of products and services available to its commercial general liability market. The enhanced coverage includes endorsements and a higher policy limit.
Technology
Applied Systems announced the general release in early fall of Applied TAM 2013, a widely-used agency and brokerage management software. This will allow agencies to manage their workload, enhancing customer service and improving productivity. New and enhanced features will also be introduced with the release.
