Karen Gilmer-Pauciello of Philadelphia Insurance Cos. was promoted from senior vice president & controller to executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. She will also serve as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Tokio Marine North America Inc., the parent company of Philadelphia Insurance Cos.

Brian Little, head of human resources for Zurich North America was named one of Chicago's Most Influential African-Americans. Little was one of 20 Chicagoans recognized this year by the Most Influential Convention of America and The People's Voice newspaper.
