Willis of Maryland, part of Willis Group Holdings plc, announced its acquisition of accounts certain personnel previously associated with T.E. Burke & Assocs. Inc. Consequently, Willis of Maryland welcomes Terrence E. Burke, Brian Burke, and Connie Ertel, all of whom will continue to work with the accounts previously serviced by T.E. Burke & Assocs. Inc.

New Programs:

The Public Livery Unit of All Risks Ltd. announced its addition of a new A.M. Best “A” rated carrier for taxi risks in Georgia and Tennessee.

Cross Insurance of Cross Financial Corp. announced the establishment of Cross Surety Inc., a new division specializing in surety bonds. Michelle Orlando, who has more than 30 years of experience in the surety business, was hired to manage the new division.

Technology:

Codon Skelly announced the launch of its new website and portal system. The new site boasts the fastest collector vehicle insurance quoting system, able to generate a price in under 20 seconds.
