Allied World Assurance Company Holdings appointed Sarah Doran as senior vice president, investor relations and treasurer. Doran will be responsible for corporate treasury, capital management, banking and M&A activity. Doran joins Allied World from Barclays.

The Keystone Insurers Group added Hunt-Miller Insurance Agency as its 12th franchise partner in Georgia. Keystone Insurers Group is owned by its franchise partners and employees in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.

New Programs

American Modern Insurance Group has improved its yacht program in California and Washington by expanding coverage features, increasing limits and lowering rates for experienced yacht owners. The revamped program takes effect in California immediately and in Washington on May 12.

The Hanover Insurance Group added of several new businesses owners and commercial package policy enhancements for its technology product suite. The changes are designed to help agents meet the growing demand for insurance protection for technology companies.

Momentous Insurance Brokerage launched its Healthcare Division to focus on insurance solutions for medical related businesses and practitioners. The division provides products such as business insurance, medical malpractice, employee benefits and personal insurance. The division concentrates on insuring medical offices, medical groups, surgery centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals.

IronHealth, the healthcare unit of Ironshore Inc., improved its Lead Excess Umbrella and Follow-Form Excess Hospital Professional Liability (HPL) policies. IronHealth’s policies now provide that all drop-down coverages will be available throughout the policy period with a preset limit of liability coverage per event, which is subject to an overall aggregate limit of liability under the terms of the policy.
