American Insurance Group says it is officially once againretaining the “AIG” name for its property and casualtybusiness.

The company also announced a new tagline: “Bring onTomorrow.”

The rebranding from the Chartis name back to AIG becameeffective November 11 and was announced in June.

“AIG as a global insurance brand is back,” says AIG Presidentand CEO Robert H. Benmosche in a release. “The re-launch of the AIGname marks a significant achievement for our company. 'Bring ontomorrow' underscores AIG's tremendous tenacity and ambition- tosolve problems, to innovate for the benefit of our clients, and toact as a powerful, global team.”

The company's life and retirement segment has been altered toAIG Life and Retirement. Other AIG family brands including VALIC,Lexington Insurance, American General, SunAmerica and WesternNational will continue business operations without anychange.
