Applied Systems announces the general release of TAM12, the newest version of the most insurance software vendor'sagency and broker management software.

Applied reports TAM 12 delivers enhanced capabilities forwriting insurance policies in the commercial middle market. Amongthem are reverse alerts, which support real-time communication fromagents to carriers, including attachments. For Canadian customers,it includes new capabilities for writing commercial linespolicies.

TAM 12 supports the new Canadian eDoc XML standard from TheCentre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO), which allows forelectronic documents to be transmitted in broker downloads,yielding broker cost efficiencies and improving customer serviceand retention. It also provides an improved French user interfaceand help files.

In addition, TAM 12 provides enhanced integration withCompu-Quote, providing the ability to attach a PDF file thatcontains carrier details, premium summary and underwriting. TAMalso creates a default description in the activity note with year,make, model, total premium and premium per vehicle for an autoquote and location, total premium and premium per location for aproperty quote for Canadian brokers. As previously announced,Applied Systems acquired Compu-Quote earlier this year.
